NaPoWriMo 2013

In honor of National Poetry Month 2013, I posted a poem a day throughout April 2013.  If you’re just starting to read them now and you’d like the whole story, begin at the bottom of the Older Older posts with “On October 7, 2012,” and scroll up.  One of my hopes over the month was to let go of a little freight, inspired by Mel Bosworth’s wonderful book (click here) and by survivalist Thomas Seibold, who walked empty handed into the Alaskan wilderness.  For moving accounts of Thomas’ true story, click here and here.  As for these poems, truth is part of the freight I decided to leave behind . . .
