The Month of Ice

Here in NYC, February is the month of ice — the 28 days I spend dreading I’ll freeze permanently.  It would be realist to worry about frostbite, but no, I have nightmares that I’ll ice over into The Incredible Frozen Woman, perpetually on display at some Lapland ice bar.

So what do I do about it?  I ice skate.  Go figure.

    Cool. (Literally.)

  2. What a great way to enjoy this frigid weather! Great shot of you Rose!

  3. Love how your girls were able to clean up the color cast on my photo. Yay! And Rick’s photo makes an awesome companion for it. As for the cold and ice: if you can’t beat it, join it;-)

  4. Thanks, Elizabeth — it was J.S.’s great action photography! And J.S., I’m glad you like how it turned out. This is the time of year I wish I could join you in California. But hey, since I’m here, might as well enjoy some winter sports :-)
